Our children’s ministry (from birth through 5th grade) is equipped with faithful members who teach children:

  • basics of the Christian faith
  • how grow in their relationship with Jesus
  • how to enjoy fellowship with other children and their families.

Nursery:  A nursery is provided for infants through 3 year olds and is available on Sunday mornings (8 a.m.-12:15 p.m.) during all worship services and Sunday School.  It is located in the Parish Hall.

Sunday School: Children’s Sunday school is for ages 2 through the 5th grade and takes place each Sunday during the school year from 10:15 a.m. - 11 a.m. We use a Bible-centered curriculum, called SPARK, that encourages kids to open the Scriptures and explore God's Word.

Summer Camp:  Camp is open to those students who have completed the 1st-5th grades. The 1st-3rd graders go to camp for half a week and the 4th-5th graders go for a full week. They attend the Lutheran Camp Chrysalis in Kerrville, TX which is located on 77 acres in the Hill Country overlooking Turtle Creek.   Watch our Youth Website for Signup & Deadlines

First Communion:   When a child enters 5th Grade they are eligible to receive his/her First Communion.  Before doing so, the child and parents will go through a class with the Pastor where the basics of Communion are explained.   Classes generally meet on two Sundays in late October or early November and they will have their first communion on All Saints’ Sunday.
