Cross Trails Ministries is the legal successor to the former Lutheran Outdoor & Retreat Ministries of the Southwest, Inc. (LORMS). This ministry offers summer camping experiences to Lutheran youth in the 2nd through 12th grades, off-site day camps, plus special family and adult retreats throughout the year. The ministry owns and operates two pristine Hill Country facilities, Camp Chrysalis near Kerrville and Ebert Ranch Camp near Harper. (www.crosstrails.org)

Thrivent Builds with
Habitat for Humanity of RR: 
A relationship that brings both financial support and volunteers by engaging Lutheran congregations, Thrivent chapters and members, Habitat affiliates, and individuals to
build houses together in partnership
with families in need.

Meals on Wheels:  Food is delivered by volunteers to those in need four days per week.  Palm Valley and other churches in the community share responsibility for delivery on a rotating schedule, each church delivering approximately 4-6 times per year.

Caregivers of RR   An organization of volunteers from all churches who help older persons remain in their homes by assisting them with daily needs such as transportation to doctors appointments, grocery shopping, etc.  Call 310-1060 to volunteer or receive help.

 

Round Rock Serving Center:  Located on East Main in the vicinity of Trinity Care Center, next to the baseball fields.  It is operated on a volunteer basis and helps local people which monies and food.  You can bring non perishable items to church anytime and leave them in the grocery cart in the narthex.
