Simply let a pastor know that you wish to join our congregation.

Contact the Lutheran church where your membership currently resides and inform them that you are planning to join Palm Valley. They will send us a Letter of Transfer. If you prefer we can do this for you if you give us the name and address of your congregation.

Then sign up with the Church Office to attend the next New Members Class where you will learn all about the history and opportunities here at Palm Valley. You’ll also meet some other great people who are joining with you.

Finally, the big day comes when you are officially received as new members along with others who are joining.

If you are not already a member of another Lutheran congregation, you will need to attend our New Member Class.

This is a four-week journey through the history and teachings of Christianity and the Lutheran church in particular. It is taught by one of the pastors.

You will have a chance to ask questions, explore the Bible, and learn the history of our PVLC congregation. There is no obligation to join.

After completing the four weeks, you and all others will be officially received as new members of this congregation on a designated Sunday.
