One of Palm Valley Lutheran Church's many attributes is that we are a praying and caring body of Christ, both collectively and individually.  The power of prayer is manifested in many ways but particularly in one of our most important ministries - The Prayer Chain.

A number of members decided two years ago that it would be meaningful to carry this vital activity a step further by forming a Prayer Group. Many of them were already members of the Prayer Chain.  All those who have joined this group have agreed to spend at least a half an hour every day to lift up each one on our prayer list.

By e-mail each of us receive the names and needs of all those on the Prayer Chain, along with many other prayer requests that come to us individually.  An example would be all of those names that are mentioned at our Monday Morning Bible Study.

By phone and at our Monthly hour long meeting (the Second Wednesday of each month at noon), we spend part of our time updating everyone on our monthly revised prayer list.  It is comforting to know that Jesus hears our daily prayers and loves each one we lift up by name.  We thank the Lord for all of those that are being healed.
