Purpose Statement: As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.

QUILTERS: Each Tuesday evening at 1:00pm the quilting ladies gather in the Palm Room to sew and make quilts to be given for numerous occasions, people who have lost their homes, children’s home, Lutheran World Relief, etc. Refreshments are served following the two hours of quilting.
CLUSTER: MEETS 4TH Thursday, 3:00 p.m in the Parish Hall to provide Fellowship, refreshments, program and Communion for residents of Trinity Care Center and our members who cannot come on Sundays to worship.
BEREAVEMENT COMMITTEE: This committee is responsible for serving light refreshments or a light meal at the church following a member’s funeral, if the family so requests. Church members are contacted on a rotating basis to provide sandwiches, cookies, etc.
CHURCHMEN’S BANQUET: A tradition since 1929, the women of Palm Valley Lutheran Church have prepared a banquet and served the men of the congregation and the community in February. Tickets are sold and the proceeds of this event each year are designated to help fund the cost of Summer Camp for the
Youth of the congregation who wish to attend.
